The picture below is one of the very walls Spectrum has created for the whole school to see what every student is grateful for. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, each student created something that the students will walk by each day and recognize just how lucky they are. Spectrum wants to make sure that each student treats each other like their own friends and family. The whole point of sharing what one is grateful for is to see just how much of a community the school has become in order to make a difference in a world bigger than this.

During November, Spectrum hosted their annual food drive where students brought non-perishable food items to donate to charities so families, who are less fortunate than us, will have food to eat. One can agree that every student is grateful for such a loving community filled with welcoming friends, along with teachers and other peers that have helped each one along their journey. In addition to this, each student is thankful for the loving and caring people in their life and appreciates every single one of them.

Adrianna K. says, “Thank you for everything you’ve done for us; for helping us when we needed you the most, for taking us step by step through any troubles we many come across.”
