All Out, All Game, All Season. This is how I would describe the way our senior boys soccer team played this season. After finishing with 0 wins, 7 losses, and 1 tie, the boys bounced back this year, finishing with 5 wins, 0 losses, and 1 tie, with the most impressive game being a win against Langstaff SS, Titans winning 7-1.
“I think the season has been going super well.” said team captain John Ntoukas, “We’re undefeated so far, can’t complain. The boys are doing amazing, being great individuals, and being an even better team all together. We’re all very excited to go to the playoffs, but with the talent we have, I don’t think anyone on the team is surprised that we made it.”
The team played strong through every game, even without star striker Kiyan Jadavji, who suffered a torn ACL mid-season. The Titans’ leading scorers consist of Mark Mallouk, Brandon D’Amico, John Demitry, Augusto Tzintzun, and Kian Chartabian with two goals each. Led by team captain John Ntoukas, and head coach Mdme Mulholland, the boys were able to play hard through every game of the season, and place second overall in the YRAA Tier 2 boys soccer standings. I caught up with the boys after their final win over Thornlea SS, and this is what they had to say:
“ I think the season went great, way better than last year. Team chemistry was phenomenal, despite a mix of grade 10s, 11s, and 12s. We were able to figure out the best line up without too much experimentation. I’m satisfied to say that we all fit well in our positions on the team. I’m excited to see how long our playoff run can last, hopefully going undefeated.”

Playoffs begin on October 25th, as the boys will go on to face Pierre Elliott Trudeau SS in their first playoff game in over a year. Stay tuned for more on Titan athletics. Go Titans Go!
