36 million boxes of heart-shaped chocolates are sold every Valentine’s day. And let’s be honest: you probably make up half of that since you bought so many to console yourself. But aside from the fact that you’re now millions of dollars in debt, let’s just take a moment to talk about why chocolate is so addicting to lonesome people like you.

So as many of you probably know, Valentine’s day is right around the corner. Although, most of you are probably going to be staying at home all alone indulging all of that chocolate. So to make you feel better, why don’t we serenade you with a series of images that show why chocolate truly is the best companion on Valentine’s day, even if you’re all alone.
