The last month of the decade was very busy with assignments and holiday festivities. The buzz of Christmas and winter break was felt all around the school. Students and teachers couldn’t wait to celebrate the season after completing all their work. A titan that stood out was Grade 11, Adam Fang. To get to know him better, we asked him a few questions.

  1. Why were you recognized as the Titan of the Month?

I was recognized as Titan of the Month for my ability to balance my hectic lifestyle.

  1. How has your personal interests helped you excel in other areas of your life?

Outside of school, I pursue street dance as both a hobby and a lifestyle. Dance has taught me many skills including leadership, collaboration and selflessness. It has taught me the importance of putting pride into all of your work.

  1. How has St. A’s helped shape your interests?

St. Augustine helped me shape my interests by providing an inclusive and safe learning environment that promotes healthy learning and exploration.

  1. As a Grade 11 student, have you been leaning towards a certain path after high school?

After high school, I’m looking to go to university and earn some sort of degree (I have no clue for what) while simultaneously pursuing dance.

Pursuing your passions while doing well is something that is possible, Adam is living proof. It was great to know him better and hear about his love for dance. We can all take something from this and remember to have fun while studying hard.
