This past weekend, almost 60% of St. Augustine’s DECA Chapter competed in this year’s virtual DECA Ontario Provincial Competition. Compared to previous years where DECA Ontario Provincials was held in the bustling city of downtown Toronto at Sheraton Centre Hotel, this year students are adapting to the virtual competition environment.

In preparation for this competition, students have been working hard and dedicating themselves into each training session. They competed in an array of events that reflected the diversity of business applications in the workplace through their hard work and dedication. From Entertainment Marketing to Finance and Business Management, students pursued their area of interest and faced an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and improve their skills.

Results will be released in the beginning of March and we cannot wait to see what our Titans have achieved! Regardless of what the results are, congratulations to the students who represented St. Augustine at this year’s DECA Provincials! Use your skills and knowledge you have gained from this experience to continue challenging yourself.
