Ho Ho Ho! We have finally arrived in the most scenic winter month, meaning Christmas is approaching. If you’re looking for a way to get into the festive mood, here is a list of fun activities to do during the holidays!
Part One: “Finding Your Childhood”
- Become a bartender for your family! Make the funkiest cocktail with all of your favourite drinks! Make sure you don’t end up with a stomachache though!
- Become a master snow mason and rebuild the English Capitol with snow!
- Build a den of blankets over the winter break and shut yourself off from the rest of human civilization for at least a day. The perfect activity for quarantine.
- Make a snowman with the snacks you stocked in your house! Be sure to eat them before your snowman melts!
- Blast iconic and legendary Christmas songs! Sing your lungs out with your family or friends, however you’d like!
Part Two: “Living Your Teenage Dreams”
Disclaimer: *Some places associated with the list below require vaccination against COVID-19*
- Go downtown to the Distillery District’s Winter Village 2021! Enjoy the downtown vibes and grab some hot beverages along! Don’t forget your mask when you go!
- Skating in Nathan Phillips Square with your friends! Look out for fascinating decorations! Bring a mask along and don’t forget your hand sanitizer!
- Go around Toronto and rate the different Christmas trees while shopping for gifts! You decide which has the best tree!
- Go to a Museum! We suggest the Toronto Railway Museum, Museum of Illusions and Casa Loma!
- Go for a light and candlelight stroll! Alone or with others, it’s all about getting into that festive feeling!
