Many audiences were kept on their toes by the fascinating sports and events that took place during the Beijing 2022 Olympics. Despite COVID-19 being a major negative aspect, the Olympic directors and main coordinators have put on a pleasant tournament for both participants and fans.
This year’s Olympics were held in three zones across China: Beijing, Zhangjiakou, and Yanqing. It ran for over two weeks, and the closing ceremony was held on February 20th at 7 a.m. EST. Over 2,000 athletes competed for the gold medal in their sports sector. The Winter Olympics included games such as alpine skiing, biathlon, bobsleigh, cross-country skiing, curling, figure skating, ice hockey, snowboarding, and many more.
With a total of 26 outstanding medals, Canada came in third place. Many individuals were astonished and impressed with the abilities that each and every player brought to the games this year. It’s been an intriguing competition, and many fans are looking forward to future games.
