St. Augustine’s Animal Rights Committee has set up a week dedicated to raising awareness for Save Our Scruff. This is a non-profit organization that raises awareness on dogs’ needs. The week this initiative will be taking place will be from Monday, March 28th to Friday, April 1st. The initiative includes information and activities brought to you by the Animal Rights Committee.
On Monday, March 28, during the lunches, there will be the start of raffle collections. These raffle collections will be available for you to purchase raffles throughout the week at a dollar to two dollars per raffle ticket.
On Wednesday, March 30, there will be a Kahoot game available to play in the cafeteria during the lunches. The questions are based on the organization Save Our Scruff. As well, during the lunches there will be a video played. A vegan cupcake recipe tutorial video will also be emailed out to the student body that day. In the hallways, there will be recipe cards for types of cupcakes on display. During the lunches, the raffle tickets will also continue to be available for students to buy.
On Thursday, March 31, the raffle collections will continue to go on during the lunches.
On Friday, April 1, the raffle collections will happen for the last time during the lunches and the winner will be announced for the raffle through an announcement during that day. They will win a $20 gift card for the raffle.
