St. Augustine’s Animal Rights Committee has planned an Experts Against Animal Abuse week, dedicated to students standing up against animal abuse. This event will run for the week of Monday, April 25th to Friday, April 29th. Throughout the week, you can create and submit a poster or poem on a topic of animal abuse using the QR code displayed in the hallways. Your creative poster or poem can be about animal testing, animal abandonment, or habitat loss due to humans.
On Monday, April 25, the morning announcement as it will tell you more about this event! Look out around the school as well for posters with purple paw prints. On the paw prints you can sign your name to show that you stand against animal abuse.
Throughout the week, listen out during the morning announcements for tips for stopping and preventing animal abuse in your area.
On Friday, April 29, there will be a portion of the winning poem read. You can also look around the hallways to see the posters that have been submitted on display. As well, during all 3 lunches, there will be a video played about what you should do if you encounter animal abuse. This informational video will also be emailed out, so keep an eye on your k12 accounts!
Join the Animal Rights Committee in standing up against animal abuse this week! The ARC looks forward to seeing the posters and poems!
