Despite it being a couple of months since the release of Stray Kids’ most recent album ODDINARY, the album has still been on the top of Billboard charts. It is one of the first kpop albums this year to spend 8 weeks on the Billboard 200. The album earned number 1 right after its release and currently sits still on the Billboard 200 where it is currently placed at no.184. The placement has fluctuated but they have still remained strong. Their album has set a record of being on the charts for the longest time this year.

This week, the album peaked at second place on the World Album charts and has been in the top 10 (no.9 and no.11 respectively) when it comes to album sales. They have also placed no.88 when it comes to Billboard’s Top 100 Artists list.

Stray Kids are a kpop boy group which debuted back in 2018 under JYP Entertainment through a survival show under the same name. The group consists of 8 members (formerly 9) with the leader Bang Chan accompanied by bandmates Changbin, Minho (Lee Know), Jisung (Han), Seungmin, I.N, Felix, and Hyunjin. The group is known for their hip-hop and electronic sound. They have gained an immense amount of popularity throughout the years and if you ask any Korean pop fan, they are likely familiar with the name Stray Kids. They have been building a name for themselves and are definitely one of the most popular 4th generation kpop boy groups around the world currently.
