Caramel Apple S’mores

This fun twist on a classic summer treat uses crisp and tart apples in place of graham crackers! Simply assemble toasted marshmallows, chocolate, shop-bought caramel sauce (or homemade, which is even yummier), and thinly sliced Granny Smith apples!

Watermelon Granita

Elevate your average snow cone by creating this watermelon granita, fit for a summer picnic or get together! Freeze chopped watermelon and jarred ginger chunks from a jar, in addition to the zest and juice of a lime. After at least 8 hours, blitz the frozen ingredients in a food processor or blender until a perfectly pink snow is formed. Top with a few dollops of yogurt, baby mint leaves, and ginger syrup from the jar.

Bubble Tea Ice Creamsicles

Are you an avid boba lover? Want to enjoy it as more than just a drink? Try a refreshing brown sugar milk ice cream bar. These creamsicles have a smooth texture with real boba at the bottom. They are picture-worthy, as seen in the image above. Asian supermarkets such as T&T are often seen to be selling these cold desserts. Find them in the frozen aisle, alongside the ice cream. Recommended are the brands “Tiger Sugar” and “Xiao Mei.”

Frozen Grapes

Have too many grapes in the fridge that you can’t finish in time? Freeze them. They make great quick cold snacks, and they are also a lot healthier and have less packaging than the traditional ice cream or popsicle. You can also use them as ice cube alternatives in drinks such as soda and juice. To make them, just wash and clean the grapes, pat them dry (optional— done to avoid the grapes chunking up together), and then place them in a container to dry.
