When it comes to candies, everyone has their favorites. One might enjoy chocolate bars, gummies, lollipops, licorice and more. There is a wide variety of preferences, and none of them are exactly incorrect. However, there are overall trends that seem to imply objective answers.

1. Reese’s Cups

Hopefully, some of you expected this. According to a number of surveys, the majority of children and teenagers from the United States and Canada rate Reese’s Cups as their favourite candy. This should come as no surprise, as who wouldn’t like to bite through delectable layers of chocolate and into the ambrosial peanut butter within? Even if you can’t eat Reese’s cups due to allergies, you can always count on the second best candy.

2. Kit Kat Bars

Oh sweet Kit Kat bars! Much like Reese’s Cups, Kit Kat bars are among the most popular and loved of any candy. In some years, Kit Kat bars have overtaken Reese’s Cups in popularity polls! A savory crisp wafer, swathed with the perfect amount of chocolate will make anyone’s mouth water. What a rich, tasteful candy that is impossible to not love! This candy is almost unarguably the peak of dark chocolate. Although, what is there for those who don’t like dark chocolate?

3. Hershey Bar

There’s always Hershey’s and their delectable milk chocolate bars. Hershey’s bars are made from fresh milk, which is a great reason as to why their chocolate bars are so delicious! Additionally, there’s many delicious options to choose. Some of which include: the classic milk chocolate bar, the strawberries n’ creme bar, the birthday cake bar, hazelnut, and my personal favourite, the famous cookies ‘n’ creme bar. 

With your newfound knowledge of the most popular candies, you can become the most popular house on the block, this Halloween!
