Although Halloween is over, there are still a few more weeks until Fall ends.

From late September to December, the weather becomes a nice cool temperature, and the leaves on the trees on the sides of the street turn beautiful shades of red and orange. Fall, or Autumn, is a nice in-between the scorching summers and frigid winters, where the weather is perfect to do things both indoors and outdoors. Naturally, you would want to take advantage of this wonderful season, so below is a list of fun things to do during Fall.

1. Get Lost in a Corn Maze

A corn maze is a large, confusing maze, where the walls are made of corn! It might be a bit difficult to find your way out, so make sure you use the washroom before you go in.

2. Visit a Petting Zoo

Lots of places with corn mazes usually have petting zoos in the same area. Be sure to feed the animals when you visit!

3. Roast Marshmallows Over a Fire

Roasting marshmallows over a fire is quite fun. You can tell stories to your friends while eating marshmallows

4. Go to an Outdoor Flea Market

Traditionally, a flea market is a market set up along the sides of a street that sells antique goods. They usually are only set up during the spring to fall months, so it’s a good time to go and check out what they have to offer. Each one is very unique.

5. Bake a Pie

Baking a pie is something fun to do alone, or with friends. Eating a fresh, warm pie will also help you warm up as the weather gets colder.

6. Watch a Movie with Friends Indoors

Some find the fall season too cold to do anything outside. In that case, crawl under a blanket with a warm mug of hot cocoa and watch a movie alone or with friends. It is very warm indoors.

7. Read a Book

Another nice thing to do during fall is to read a book. It is another, warm and cosy activity. Take time to take a break from the busy world you live in.

8. Rake a Giant Pile of Leaves and Hide in it

It isn’t the fall season without leaves falling to the ground. Rake them up into a giant pile and conceal your existence from the world.

9. Watch the Sunset

You can see some beautiful sunsets during the fall season. The colourful trees and setting sun paint a stunning picture across the sky and horizon. It makes for a very nice instagram post.

10. Visit a Fall Festival

Fall Festivals like Markham Fair are wonderful ways to spend the fall season. There are lots of fun activities that you can’t do during any other time of the year.

Before the air becomes cold with the chilling winds of winter, you should go enjoy the fall season, possibly doing some of the things mentioned above. Enjoy!
