With Christmas around the corner, we’re sure many of you are still stuck on gift ideas for your friends and family. As students, it may be hard to afford buying every person a gift, and it is quite unsustainable to focus so much on materialism during the holiday season. Today we’ll be sharing some gifts you can easily make yourself, that would make many happy!
- Custom Playlist
A simple and personalized gift would be a custom playlist. Put together a list of songs that remind you of that person, and send it to them digitally or print out the QR code. A custom playlist is a great way to let someone know you are thinking of them, and it gives the person a glimpse into how you see them.
- Annotated Book
While the last gift would make any music lover very happy, if you have any friends who are readers, I’m sure they would love an annotated book. Take any book you know they love, and read it while writing in your thoughts and feelings. Reading someone’s favorite book is a way to connect with a person, and sharing that experience and your thoughts with the person can be a very meaningful gift.
- Cookies/Pastries
If you like to bake, or your friends enjoy treats, I would recommend baking them some Christmas cookies or treats. This is a simple and sweet way to make them smile, and if you want to share an experience, meet up and bake them together!
We hope these ideas give you some inspiration, and you have a lovely holiday season!
