As we approach the middle of fall, many of us are looking forward to the cozy days with our friends. As most of us aren’t able to drive very far, Markham offers many cozy opportunities to enjoy the fall. Take a glimpse at the following activities near us and have some fun with friends or family! 

Pick your own pumpkins! 

Although it is past halloween, it’s not too late to pick some pumpkins! Head over to Reesor’s Farm Market to enjoy some pumpkin picking. Afterwards, you can hang out with your friends or family to paint or carve them! 

Visit the Fall Exhibitions at Varley Art Gallery 

Take a walk through Main Street Unionville to enjoy the new fall exhibitions at Varley Art Gallery.  Sitting with a warm coffee and enjoying some paintings will definitely enhance the cozy fall atmosphere!

Visit Alfsen House Books

If you’re looking for something cozy and sweet, a visit to a used bookstore is perfect for you. Alfsen House Books is located on Main Street Markham. In this bookstore, you will find a friendly atmosphere with an old man and his cat. Take a walk through Main Street Markham and enjoy a fall drink from Starbucks, cuddle up with your books and you’re all set to enjoy the fall!
