The worldwide known idol, Celine Dion, is known for her multiple contributions to the community with her involvement in charitable events and for her classic music that stuns everyone. In the last year, Dion revealed an illness that may restrict her future concerts and interviews. Fortunately, her fans were understanding and concerned for the singer’s health as she is loved by all. She was diagnosed with a disease called Stiff-Person Syndrome which affects a person’s ability to move effectively due to the stiffening of the muscle. For Celine Dion, it majorly affects her vocal cords which restricts her ability to sing. Thus, limiting her ability to perform on stage. Nevertheless, this illness did not kill her motivation and dedication to continue to move forward and to fight the illness. She continues to work on her health while trying not to disappoint her fans. According to a music industry analyst, Mike Gauthier, it is highly unlikely that Celine Dion will be able to go on real tours in the future. It would be hard for her to maintain her maximum performance rate considering the health risks. Though this is disheartening, Dion fans will continue to support her through this journey and cheer her on her road to recovery. More information about her illness is given in her documentary, allowing the fans of Dion to further understand her situation.
