Last week, the Grade 11 marketing students of St. Augustine CHS hosted the first semester marketing fair. The booths were open for sale throughout all lunches from November 27th to November 29th. Students from the six booths collaborated to plan, design, and construct a range of goods and services. Products included sugar cookies, icecream, Dalgona coffee, and dipped treats. Some booths even included unique activities, such as lotteries and raffles, as well as a Christmas-themed photobooth!
All proceeds of the marketing fair went towards Sharelife. The Sharelife foundation aims to support all those in need in our community, no matter their faith, age, or background. Specifically, the donations from the fair went towards supporting families in need, immigrants, refugees, people with special needs, children and seniors.
The marketing fair intends to return during the second semester, so keep an eye out to support the students’ endeavours! In addition to offering an opportunity to purchase enjoyable items, the fair provides an opportunity to give back to the community by donating to Sharelife. For those in junior years, choosing the Grade 11 marketing course is a unique opportunity to learn skills required to carry out entrepreneurship and to expand on creativity and business skills. A big thank you to all the students and teachers involved in organising such a wonderful fair!
