Hello readers, welcome back to the “Titan’s Tycoon” news series where we try to promote student leadership, entrepreneurship, and businesses. If you have been following the recent articles from this series, you have learned about 3 thriving businesses and how to start a business. But why go through the inevitable hassle of doing so?

Starting a business can help you in 3 ways:

  1. Money/Wealth
  1. Following dreams or passion
  1. Being the boss/having flexibility

In no order, these 3 benefits can pose genuine reasons to start a business. Money is always a factor, whether we want to think about it or not. Starting a business may begin with seed money, but by staying patient and determined for growth, the investment can pay off handsomely.

Following our passions can also be a valid driving force in a business startup. This can mean that the business is an interest. Having a business that caters to your interests can give you more confidence and strength in the field.

Being the boss means that we dictate our hours. It just means that we work as much as we are willing for our business to grow.

But what are some of the other reasons we might want to start a business? For students, it is a great addition to a resume. Programs give you more respect when you run a business. It is seen as something that implements time, patience, and intelligence.

In conclusion, starting a business may take time and effort, but it can be worth it in the end. That is all for this edition of “Titan’s Tycoon”. Stay tuned for the next edition. Until then… think about starting a business.
