This holiday season, come experience the magic of WinterFest, a once a year event where you can make memories that will last a lifetime with family and friends at Canada’s Wonderland. From November 16 to January 4, the park becomes a winter wonderland with twinkling lights, holiday decorations and lots of holiday cheer. It is the best way to spend a free day of the holidays.
As you step inside WinterFest, it will be like you are in a whole new world. A world of warmth and Christmas cheer. With 2 towering 50 feet Christmas trees exuding a warm glow, it will absolutely make your day surrounded by millions of twinkling lights. After seeing that, you will know your evening of Christmas fun has just begun. Be sure to walk down Candy Cane Lane. It is a street straight out of your dreams, with all the festive decorations and vibrant colours you can dream of.

If you are in the mood for a cozy activity, check out the Post Office and send a heartfelt letter to Santa so you can send a little holiday cheer all the way to the North Pole! Select rides such as Psyclone, Sledge Hammer, the Thunder Run, which are still open for people who want to combine their Christmas fun with a little bit of adrenaline. Don’t forget about Snowflake Lake! A visit here is not complete without skating on it. It is the biggest ice skating rink with a beautiful view of Wonder Mountain. A scene straight out of a holiday postcard, it is for certain that it will warm your heart and cheer you up. When it is time to eat, you are in for a treat. Winterfest food is not only delicious – it’s festive, too! Imagine stopping to enjoy a Smoked Turkey Holiday Dinner or gobbling down a crowd pleasing Turkey Poutine which is a spin on a classic comfort food.
Don’t think they forgot about the sweet lovers. The Butter Tart Funnel Cake and Gingerbread Funnel Fritters are irresistable. From a crisp outer coating to a rich, gooey butter tart center in the Butter Tart Funnel Cake and the warm spiced flavor of ginger and cinnamon in the Gingerbread Funnel Fritters.
