The St. Augustine Catholic High School App Development Team is back and more energized than ever! After months of feedback and brainstorming, we are thrilled to announce that we are embarking on an exciting journey to remake our school app. Our goal is to enhance the experience for students, parents, and faculty alike, making information more accessible and communication even smoother. The original school app was a great start, but we recognized the need for it to evolve alongside the needs of our community. Our team has listened to various suggestions from students and faculty to identify the features that would most benefit everyone. We want to create an app that not only meets these needs but exceeds expectations. We are still around the starting stage and our Grade 11s and 12s are working hard to remake the app.

We are planning to incorporate a host of new features that will revolutionize how the St. Augustine community interacts with our school.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the additions we’re most excited about:

  1. This feature will remind our users about what courses they have each day, making it easier for students to stay organized and prepared.
  2. We will create a centralized space where students can access important resources such as homework help, tutoring opportunities, and links to educational platforms. This hub will provide the tools needed for academic success right at their fingertips.
  3. A much aesthetically pleasing design
  4. The spirit meter is going to be revived again after the new app is created

Our Grade 11s and 12s are collaborating closely with faculty advisors and leveraging their tech skills to bring these features to life. We are also exploring opportunities for beta testing with a small group of users before the official launch, allowing us to refine the app further based on real user experiences.

We believe that the upgrades we are implementing will significantly enhance the way our community interacts with our school, fostering a stronger sense of connection and involvement.
