Hey there, Titans! So, you want to be a great leader at St. Augustine CHS, huh? Well, buckle up, because being a leader is a lot like trying to untangle your earbuds: it can be messy, frustrating, and full of unexpected surprises. But don’t worry; I’m here to guide you through this wild ride with some tips that are more entertaining than an assembly featuring a motivational speaker who can’t stop talking about their cat’s accomplishments. Let’s dive in!

1. Be Approachable:

   – Smile like you just won the lottery (or found a pizza coupon for the cafeteria’s overprized pizza slices). Let your buddies know they can come to you with anything (maybe except for awkward questions that get you into trouble).

   – Try to get in the loop with your fellow students. Stand in the hallway and throw in the occasional “What’s up?” or “Cool new haircut!” Even if you have no idea who they are, it’ll make you seem friendly. Not only the students but also the teachers! Telling that to Mr. Cadawas would really brighten his day!

2. Make Meetings Fun:

   – Meetings don’t have to be dull! Organize them somewhere quirky, like the roof (if it’s safe, of course) or the back of a school building or maybe in the bushes(Actually, no. Scratch that. The school board doesn’t allow that). Maybe even if you’re at the running field! People will show up just to see what chaos you’re stirring up!

3. Show Your Enthusiasm:

   – Forget about the monotone voice! When you talk about school events, sounds like you just discovered a hidden stash of chocolate in your friend’s bag. Use hand gestures and facial expressions, and maybe even break out into a dance move now and then.  If you’re excited, others will be too. “Who’s ready for the annual Taylor Swift sing-off competition against Taylor Swift herself?!” (Trust me, that’ll get their attention!).

4. Listen Like You Mean It:

   – When someone is sharing their ideas, nod like you’re in the front row of a catchy concert. It shows you care! Just make sure to avoid the “distracted look”; you don’t want them thinking you’re uninterested in what they say. It could be that Dogs can fly or fishes can walk, doesn’t matter! Just listen to them with your heart and soul.

5. Keep It Light but Empowering:

   – Share your own epic fails. Celebrate the small victories. When things go right, or even sort of right, throw a mini happy dance(It doesn’t matter. No one would judge. Maybe the chicken dance, they would.). Everyone loves a good moment of happiness and laughter.

6. Delegate Like a Pro:

   – Real leaders know you can’t do it all (and that’s OK!). Ask for help and make it sound fun.

7. Be Yourself and Own It:

   – Embrace your quirks. Whether you’ve got a love for collecting Pokemon cards lying in the school foyer or sticking gum underneath the chairs and tables(Seriously, don’t do that. that isn’t a good quirk).

   – Share personal stories! If you got lost on a school trip or accidentally wore two different shoes which are not black or even came barefoot, use those moments to connect with your classmates.

And there you have it, Titans! With these tips, you’re well on your way to being the most memorable leader St. Augustine CHS has ever seen. Remember, being a leader isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about making the journey fun and inclusive. Now go out there and unleash that Titan spirit! 🍕💥
