“I just want to hold on / I’m scared of losing the moment / Running ‘til the gold’s gone / The seasons change and I know it.”

At just sixteen years old, Freya Skye has become the rising pop star of the upcoming generation. Fans are calling her “the next Taylor Swift” as she continues to rise to stardom. Her newest single, Silent Treatment, amassed nine million streams in nine days.

Freya Skye grew up in Buckinghamshire, England, where her passion for performing began. At thirteen years old, she competed in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, representing the United Kingdom with her original song, “Lose My Head.” In 2023, Freya was casted in Disney’s Zombies 4 as one of the main characters, Nova, and was signed to Hollywood Records as an artist.

Last July, Disney’s Zombies 4 was released and became a huge hit for fans of all ages, putting Freya at center stage. After the success of the new Zombies film, she embarked on the Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Arena Tour, performing in massive venues like Madison Square Garden and Scotiabank Arena. This tour became the phenomenon of the summer for teenagers, with tickets becoming extremely hard to grab. While on tour, Freya performed her original song, “Gold’s Gone,” at each show, which captured attention and grew her fanbase exponentially.

In December, Freya headlined her first solo shows in New York City and Los Angeles, which sold out within minutes. Fans noted how Skye masterfully created an intimate space, despite the large crowd who sang with her in the audience.

Additionally, Freya attended and performed iHeart Radio’s Jingle Ball Tour, where she performed Silent Treatment live and fans chanted the lyrics back at her. Skye was stunned at how the masses of people in these large arenas knew her song word-for word. In several interviews at Jingle Ball, Freya gushed over the countless artists she had the opportunity of meeting as a huge fangirl herself of artists such as Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, Conan Gray, and Audrey Hobert.

In February 2026, Freya is set to headline her first solo U.S. tour, “Stars Align,” which sold out instantaneously. Her career has only just started, yet Freya Skye continues to break boundaries. At the age of sixteen, Freya proves that even as a teenager, anything is possible if you put your heart into it.
