There are many people scattered throughout the world, and some of them are more fortunate than others. However, there are many initiatives to assist those who have encountered difficulties in their lives. One of these initiatives is located within St. Augustine, and is named Matt 25. This organization is named after one of Jesus’ disciples, Matthew, who wrote one of the four gospels we use today at liturgical events.

This fall, Matt 25 ran a Thanksgiving food drive to collect food for people who needed help affording food for themselves and their families. The current Matt 25 event is the upcoming Christmas food drive for those who cannot afford the inflated price of food and gifts during the winter.

Matt 25 members encourage you to contribute to this wonderful cause. Please donate as much as possible during the remaining food drives!
