St. Augustine has had a wide variety of excellent performances throughout its history. From Mean Girls to Grease to Just Friends, a play written entirely by our current grade 12’s, our school is home to many talented individuals.
This year, St. Augustine is running it’s own drama club, to put together two varying plays. One of these will be a rerun of the ever-so-popular Just Friends from last year. The second is a play called “And” which takes on a darker, more solemn tone to contrast the comedy Just Friends. The plays will also be presented competitively in February where they will compete against other schools.
Drama club began on Wednesday, September 11th, and since then, have met continuously in the weeks leading up to today. Auditions were held the week of October 1, 2019. Since then, callbacks happened in the past week and Ms. Devlin-Foley, Ms. Pagliero, Ms. Fiacco, and Ms. Van Delft are in the finalization process of assigning roles.
We wish good luck to the many talented individuals that auditioned for a role, and can’t wait to see them on stage in the near future.
