March Break is right around the corner! From March 14 to March 18, we will be taking a one-week break from school. Students and teachers will be able to finally rest but it leaves many wondering what they can do over the break. It is an extraordinary time because of the pandemic but there are still several activities available for people of all ages to participate in now that Covid restrictions are slowly being lifted. Community centers are some great places to visit if you want to get outside enjoy activities outside of home. Skating is something that happens all year round indoors and if you are planning to hit the ice during the break, heading to the community center is the best place to do so. Face masks are still to be worn and booking appointments for skating is required in order to participate.

Many parks are also open and depending on the snowfall we get, the option to go tobogganing at your nearby park might be available. If you don’t plan to go outdoors this March Break, some activities you can do include making crafts just in time for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter next month. You can bake some goodies during the week and if you don’t plan to do any of those either, you can simply read a book or maybe use this time to catch up with friends and family members.

There are numerous different, fun activities for you to enjoy during the break. Although the activities listed above may not appeal to you and you may not be doing these activities during the break, remember to stay healthy and safe and enjoy your week off it to its fullest!
